What better than to enjoy the gentle Gascogne sunshine than to plunge into the woater of a swimming pool. Camping du lac has a pool that is 5m X 10m. Open from May to end September the pool is heated so can be used all season
Those who wish to indulge in idleness is the Gers sunshine, you will findsunbeds and parasols around the swimming pool. Ideal for those who , book in hand, wish to bask in the gentle sunshine of the south west of France

Although our campsite is an invitation to do nothing, with calm shady pitches, idea for a happy siesta, you could , of course play table tennis or petanque . In high high season demonstrations of local games, such as « quilles de gascogne » , gascony skittles are organised

Activities beyond the campsite
About 300 metres from the campsite you will find a lake surrounded by a path you can walk or cycle round .You can also fish here with the relevant permits.At the side of the lake you'll find a big swimming pool , with water jets and water slide that is ideal for some family fun.
Throughout July and August you can hire canoes and kayaks for use on the lake or on the river l’Adour at Plaisance around 15km away
If you like sight-seeing, there are many places you can visit around Marciac either by foot, bike , motorbike or car. Marciac is also on the world famous route of Saint James Way (Santiago de compostella). Do not hesitate to ask for details about any of these.
Gourmet and cultural holidays
The Gers is famous for its gastronomy. You can discover local produce and traditions across the region at the various markets in all the surrounding villages. In Marciac, this takes place each Wednesday.
Each year during the first 2 weeks of August there is a major Jazz festival in Marciac, with many well known international artists. There is also a fringe festival, with free concets in the village square and by the lake ; a real paradise for jazz lovers.
Outside of the festival there are monthly concerts in the towns 500 seat concert hall “ASTRADA” ,.
